Second visit to Cameron Highlands

Its been 30 something years since Father & Mother last visited Cameron Highlands, so Daddy decided to bring them for a day trip after our opening.






They were excited to see strawberry cos they never seen them when they last visited.

Then we decided to try our luck at the Thousand Buddha Temple to see if the famous bare footed monk is in. Newspaper commented that he is very accurate. He only listen to illness and if you have a particular ailment, just talk to him (he knows all kinds of language, even Indians went to him), he will listen then gave an answer like "You go back" (no cure) or "Its okay, go back" (can cure).

There was a queue when we reached the temple at 3pm. The car was jammed at the foot of the hill with car from all parts of Malaysia. I quickly ran and queue for Mother.

Then we spent sometime in the temple before heading back to KL.

Opening Ceremony

In case you are wondering why I have not been updating my blog. Its becos of the shop. We have been busy with bugeting and getting stocks in.

Its not fun at all when the security men are getting the CCTV ready and then the signage man tried to take measurements and with five suppliers deliveries and waiting for stock check.

Finally got "something" in on Saturday, the "opening ceremony". Second reason why Mother is here...

We went extra early today at 8 am for the praying.

Then opened the shop for another half hour for symbollic purposes.

Uptown a bit deserted in the holidays.

Messy second floor. A war zone the day before with three suppliers fighting for spaces.


Third floor, with stuffs still packed.


The only organized area. Guess what Edlynne will be wearing in the future...


She can't keep her hands off the toys : )

Bad Bad Gal

Edlynne have been very naughty recently. Whenever we raised our voice, she would fell on the ground and covered her head. Like Mother said "She is so weak that just one word and she will drop down".

Today Daddy just couldn't stand her and took out the ratten. I wished that I could save her, but I'm weak too... in the end Father went in and took her...

Quite disappointed with little gal as she is now afraid of the soft sands and the roaring waves. A few months ago, she was enjoying walking in the waves...
