NZ - South Island Trip Day 5 (8 Mar)

Te Anau -> Milford Sound -> Invercargill
Its a scenic two hours drive from Te Anau to Milford Sound. Rain and a bit of fog made everything seems like wonderland.

We stopped at Chasm, went back and saw a flock of Kea over our car. Vincent managed to get in while I was still outside, one of the Kea even tried to attack me. Somehow I got into the car and they were all over. I was terrified. They even destroyed one of the wiper.
At Milford Sound, we took the Red Boat cruise. It was still raining while we went out, but it cleared up after a while. Wow! There were waterfalls all over!

While driving back, we noticed that they've placed a "snow" sign on the road condition. I was joking to Vincent that how can it be as its still late summer and early autumn. True enough, after Homer tunnel, its SNOWING! Its very light snow and Vincent didn't even noticed when he went out to take pictures.

Came by this place, Orepuki during the drive from Te Anau to Invercargill. All the trees were slanted from the wind.

It was late when we reached Invercargill, luckily it was low season here and most of the motel were not full.
