Both hubby & I were on soft diet for the last few days. Him having a serious sore throat and me healing from my tooth extraction.
I managed to get a 5 days MC and was resting until today. Life at home was a bliss! I'm now looking forward to my life as a SAHM J
We have some movers over to view the stuffs that we wanna move over to KL and hopefully the cost won't be too much as I really don't wanna go shopping for the whole house again after the last mayhem. Little Edlynne was very happy to see all the guests, she greeted them with a friendly wave, followed them around and then a goodbye wave or even a "flying kiss". That little gal has learnt a few tricks during these few days. She can now kiss us when instructed. Previously she would kiss us only when she feels like it, but now she did it quite freely. She also likes to sit on my lap when I sit on the floor. The first few times she would come by my side, then hold on to me, turned and twisted and finally settled on my lap and played with her toys. Now, whenever she saw me sitting on the floor, she will come and rearranged herself J
She also mastered the sitting to standing technique and will do it to amuse us. I really hope she can start walking as it gets really tiring to carry a wriggling baby all the time.
Yesterday, we went for Edlynne's one year assessment. Dr Terrance Tan was too busy and we went for Dr Lee instead. Edlynne was still light at 7 kg, only 2 percentile growth, and height at 25 percentile growth. Dr Lee analyzed her meals at 600 ml pf milk and two full bowls of porridge per day, that Edlynne wasn't a small eater or malnutrition. It might be the case of over active. So Dr Lee suggested Pedisure. I can't believe it, all these time, Edlynne was trying to reach for the table to destroy the toys and files after she got sick of the playing with the sweet.
Last nite was a turbulence nite, Edlynne cried pitifully for two times in a row. I think she must be having nitemares as she was still sleeping when she cried and it took hubby some time to calm her down and pat her back to sleep.
This morning I started Edlynne on Pedisure and thank god she don't have any problem and finished the milk. Hopefully she can go on and put on some weight...
Wisdom tooth extraction
Went for my long awaiting tooth extraction yesterday. I was told that my bottom right wisdom tooth was decaying and was advised to extract it before it affects my other good tooth. And while extracting this, its also best to extract my top right wisdom tooth too, as it will be chewing on my gums if I didn't take it off.
I was in Mt. E. from 10 am as hubby needs to see the Ear, Nose & Throat specialist for his terrible sore throat. Then I bought Edlynne along with me to the eighth floor when its about 10:30 am for my appointment. We waited till 11 am while Edlynne played with the receptionist and the other patients. Maybe she could sense my fear, she kept calling me to kiss me.
The procedure took 1 hour and a week MC for me to rest. Strangly, it was painless and still painless now even the G.A. was gone and without pain killers. I strongly recommend Dr Neo to anybody who is afraid of dentist like me :)

Vesak Day, Mother Day & Our KL Trip (12 - 15 May)
Took yet another Kl Trip, this time to confirm the tendency, check and clean the house. Mother & Father decided to join us this time so Mother can help to "cleanse" the house with her "fu", rice & salt.

Saturday, we met up with the agent to sign the agreement and get the keys to the house. Mother later proceed with the "cleansing". And later in the afternoon, we went back and physically cleaned the place. We were tired and decided to just have our dinner in Mid Valley MegaMall.

Sunday, another busy day. We left Edlynne with Mother & Father in the new house and went for some shopping for matress, hot plate and the usual (rice, oil, salt, sauce, vinger and tea). I saw Edlynne looking at us with a shocking face as our car drove off. I thought she might be angry as we fail to inform her that we were going out for a short while...
Edlynne was sleeping when we came back. But when she woke up, she was mad! It was only with much kisses and sayangs that she finally smiles. Wow! She's really "xiao qi".

Later we went ti our cousin place. Her future husband was also from Lawas and their family have settled in KL, Seri Pertaling. They instead have got their own place in Bukit Jalih.

Later that nite, we joined Kenny, Audrey and En En with a Mothers' Day dinner at Restaurant P.J. Seafood at Sungai Buloh. It was so packed!

We ended this trip on Monday with a wrapped up with the agent, and a smooth and no jam journey back to Singapore. Unfortunately, Daddy's now down with a serious sore throat and I have to contact the movers today, cos I've a wisdom tooth extraction tmr. Well, I guess the house will be very quiet these few days...

The Elmo we've got in Jusco, Mega Mall, she was holding it tight. The next morning we took it out for her and asked he- Where's Elmo? She crawled towards it, pointed at its mouth and said "A MO". Loud and clear and a few times more. Daddy was jealous. He said that she didn't even called him that many times...
This morning Edlynne even asked me for "Ber". I think she must have meant Big Bird cause she didn't seem to like Bert.
All the board books and VCDs, we've got from Carrefour, Putrajaya. We've been looking for Sesame Street VCD for a long time and finally found them here. There are still some volume that we haven't got and will certainly go back for more if Edlynne enjoys it.
KL Trip (7-9 May)
This time was for our second viewing of the house. I knew I did posted a house before, but due to some reasons we didn't take it. One of them was that the owner wanted us to pay for a month rental before they have their own lawyer to do up the contract. Stupid right? What if we not agreeable on the contract? Then what? Move again? Another reason was that I kept having nightmares on snakes, even Kenny was having them after Vincent told him on that incident.So we've short-listed another house which was in a safe friendly neighbourhood at Mutiara Damasara, its at the Mutiara Homes, just next to The Curve, Tesco and Ikano. And a short 5 mins drive to 1-Utama. Hopefully the landlord will agree to our terms and we can have the house by this Friday, which we will make another to KL again.We have a wonderful time again with Kenny & Family. Kenny requested us to get a Peg Perego Lite for little En En so her future brother can use her P3. En En was not willing to try the new pram, so I suggested to let Edlynne tried it and maybe En En will try it once she saw Edlynne inside. As we all knew that Edlynne will most willing to try new things, she happily sat in it and smile, meanwhile En En watching and then demand to sit in it afterwards :)Vincent attempted to carry En En after Kenny commented that she is about 13 kg (little Edlynne only about 7 kg plus). Before he could touch her, little Edlynne yelped from across the room and crawled at a fast speed towards her Daddy, demanded to be carried as well (I think she was jealous). After that, it was the same for Kenny. So the two daddies take turns to carry the gals.We didn't used much of the Street directory this time as Vincent was quite used to the roads in Damasara and I was glad as I'm really bad with maps :D
