Finally finished...

Finally watched "The Order of the Phoenix" on last Wednesday and finished "The Deathly Hallows" on Saturday nite *tired*.

There wasn't much people watching this show, so we managed to get a couple seat and Edlynne could sitted between us. But alas, shw wasn't interested in the show, she still watches in silence, but could see that she was not as engaged as "Transformers".

But she was alawys looking forward of me reading the book besides her while she drank her milk every nite. She would take the book to me and then settled on the bed with her milk : )

And yes, with the price war going with Tesco, Carrefour and the major bookstores, I managed to get the RM69.90 book : ) This doesn't mean that I approved of what Tesco and Carrefour sis (being a retailer myself), but just can't helped my self : ) I've got it at about 9pm on the first day of released... There were only less than 5 books (adult version) left on the shelf in Tesco, Mutiara Damasara...

She made this hat in school. Guess its must be the "Harry Potter" effect : )

A Name for Baby

Daddy have been calculating the strokes for baby.

This was what we have came out with,

Liao Jun Wei

Can anyone advise on the Hokkien name?

We have also decided on Wynn as the English name. What do you think?

A search on Wikipedia :

Its an old English rune, meaning "joy, bliss", is known from the Anglo-Saxon rune poem :

Bliss he enjoys who knows not suffering,
Sorrow nor anxiety, and has
prosperity and happiness and a good enough house.

Transformers

Its Wednesday nite, movie nite again. Daddy always wanted to watch this movie ever since the news on the Transformers Reebok's shoes sold in Japan. But we couldn't get the 9:30pm seats, as for the 11pm show, only the fornt three rows were avalible. We immediately took it, have dinner and then went home to bath and changed.

Little gal was still wide awake when we reached the cinema, she was curious of the popcorns from our neighbours. She then turned and waved to the back rows : ) But when the movie started, she has settled down and was glued to the screen. She was so engrossed that she didn't even drank her milk. During the battles, she was very excited, kept pointing her fingers and then yelled to me.

Could see that she really enjoyed the show, she even told me "beat! beat!" while in the car. But, by the time we reached home, she was already in lala land : )

A Busy Day

Foto taken at Nova studio before going to ICA

Previous fotos. Look how much she changed!

Last Tuesday, we went on another day trip back to Singapore. As we knew that its gonna be a packed trip, we started as early as 4:30am. But due to some major construction in Skudai, we only managed to reach JB at 8:30am, where brother was already waiting for us. A bit of traffic jam and time lost to send my mom back home, set us to 10:30am when we reached Parkview. We immediately took the car after little gal changed her clothes and diapers. Reached ICA at about 11:15am, where we applied the long term social visit pass for Edlynne, took us maybe half an hour, then we went to chop our new passport with the SPR Dept.

It was about noon after we were done and we went straight to get my breast pump accessories. Then lunch at Balestier before going back to collect Edlynne's passport at 2:30pm. Then a mad rush to Mt.E hospital for my 3pm checkup. Edlynne slept for a while but woke up when we reached the hospital, just in time to see DiDi.

The detail scan shown that its a very healthy boy (confirmed 100%). Daddy was complaining that baby was not very active as compared to little gal. Little gal on the other hand was playing happily with the nurses and waving to the MTBs.

It was closed to 5pm when we left Parkview. Took a cab to the Causeway, with daddy carrying little gal and me taking the bags, we took the bus over to JB, walked to City Square and then drove back home. Stopping mid-way at Pagoh for dinner, we finally managed to reach home at 11pm...

Movie Nite

It have been Wednesday nite, movie nite since we found out that its only RM6 per ticket on that day. So RM12 can take us three to watch a movie. So much better than those DVDs that you found on the street.
Little gal first movie attempt was a flop, she vomitted at the ticket office, dirtying Daddy and we have to take her back home. Then we found out that she was having a temperature...
Second attempt - Took her temperature before we go, ok, normal. Lots of people at the ticketing office wanting to catch the sneak preview of Transformers, but we were going to watch Fantastic Four. No good tickets. So we went to get dinner first. We have dinner at one of the Japanses resturant, little gal was fascinated by the sushi converger belts. She tried to grad every sushi that pass by : )
After dinner, we went back to the ticketing office, this time we managed to get some better seats after they released the booked tickets. We fight with the Transformers crowd to get into the cinema, changed her before getting in and made her milk. Little gal was alright with the darkness and the loud noises. She quietly sitted with Daddy and drank her milk. We all managed to watch our movie in silence. But its a bit errie seating next to the "House Seats" where each of the cinemas reserved some for. I've always heard about them but never really see any since the cinemas in Singapore are always full.
Two weeks later, last Wednesday, we thought it would be alright to watch Transformers now, after such a long time, but alas, this time was to fight with the Harry Potter crowd. With these two movies in tow, there was no more seats left when we reached the ticketing office...

Whats little gal looking at?
