Hari Raya Trip (13-14 Oct), Part 2

Day 2, we started driving at 9 am, from Kangar to Pandang Besar. We then entered Thailand. The Thai custom was a bit funny, we were made to park on the side (where there wasn't much of a parking space), then daddy get down, filled in the forms and submitted for us. We need not go down. Meanwhile, there were cars and motorbikes that wheez us by. They were either Thai vehicles or those with special passes. We were very naive to think that Hatyai is on the other side, but no, thats nothing on the other side, no shop, no nothing...

So we followed the sign to Hatyai, it tooks us one hour to get there. Meanwhile, all these time it was raining on and off. Sorry for the lack of fotos, as it was raining and we were confused with the big Thai words, tiny English road signs. We don't have a map, most of all, we don't have any Thai Baht with us!

We drove around in Hatyai and finally I managed to get a map from one of the hotels. We managed to find our way back to Sadao (Border) and then back to Malaysia via Bukit Kayu Hitam. Again, its a bit confusing in the Thai custom. This time we need to get down. There were lots of eatries and shops next to the custom, then there were the tour group people and the people from the vehicles. Seeing my big tummy, one of the Thai officer processed our passport first. Actually, lots of Malaysian just parked their vehicles along the Highway in Bukit Kayu Hitam and walked to the custom, then Sadao for some shopping, they made up most of the crowd.

After that, we headed home, stopping for lunch in Butterworth and some diaper changing in Ipoh. Its closed to 7 pm when we finally reached PJ.

Hari Raya Trip (13-14 Oct), Part 1

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

We were closed for two days for Hari Raya and we took this opportunity to complete our Peninsular Malaysia trip.
We started driving at 8am, taking E1 from Selangor to Ipoh, Ipoh to Butterworth. Then we tried to find some lunch in Butterworth, but we couldn't find any Chinese shop thats opened. We avoided Penang cos we need to pay the RM10 bridge fee to get in. So we continued to Alor Star. We managed to find some Chinese coffee shops that wasn't selling vegetarian food (they were celebrating the first nine days for the Nine Emperors God).

After lunch, we drove around Alor Star, then taking E1 all the way to Bukit Kaya Hitam, the very last stop for the North-South Highway. We didn't enter Thailand but detoured to Kangar (Perlis). Perlis is the smallest state in Malaysia and daddy commented that it might even be smaller than Singapore.

Joan's PJ trip

Joan have been in PJ to visit her brother and due to the Hari Raya sales, we've been a bit of busy to bring her around. She managed to drop by the shop on Tuesday. And Wednesday we brought her around some areas to Mid Valley, Bansar, Sri Hartamas, Mont Kiara, SS2, SS24 and our place.

Little gal was a bit wary of her when she first visited, but she soon warm up during their second meeting. She even offered Joan some saliva sulking fingers : )

We regretted that we can't be of better host. Maybe next time Joan, you and Kevin can come during our closing, we can go to further places.

Shop bound

Teacher Auntie was not happy with little mafia. She said that this little gal lack discipline and she gonna do it. I do not know how she did it, but little gal now doesn't wanna go to her place anymore. Thus, I got no choice but to take her to the shop. Our neighbours are the most happy, they look forward of playing with her while I packet lunch everyday.
Little gal can be quite annoying, she will find the best time to scream, run around and do all sort of things... The best sunts she did was playing with her poo, another one was poured milk all over. I ended up have to clean the mess with dettol... Its a tired job with my now 33 weeks tummy.

Mid Autumn Festival

Its a mad rush to go back to Singapore for some teats and then back to KL in one day. KL have been low on teats for almost 3 months and mummies are desparte. Its kinda sad to see them in such a state since some of them have been our regulars.

We started driving from 6 am and reaches JB at about 9:30am, took the bus across the Causeway, then taxi to Parkview. Little gal was reluctant when we left her there. We then went around looking for some good buy. Its almost 3pm when we went back to Parkview to load some more goods. Then back to JB to unload them. Little gal was happy to see Daddy, she immediately took her shoes and said goodbyes. But was sad when we told her to stay put. Daddy then decided to bring her after she bursted into tears.

The whole process ended at almost 7pm when we finally reached our car in JB and started heading back. Then closed to 12 midnite. We were all tired and couldn't have any lanther fun.

To make up, we have it on the next day : )

Week 30 Scan

I know I havn't been talking alot about No.2 (aka. Ah Wei) but I have been searching for gynaes and hospital in KL despite my late pregnancy. One of my customer told me about this wonderful female gynae that she have been visiting in Tmn Desa Hospital, although its a bit far from where she lives (near our shop). I took a bit of time searching about Dr. Tang and found out that she also practise in Subang Jaya Medical Center (SJMC). I quickly made an appointment with her.
The hospital, procedures and Dr Tang are good enough for me (although I do hope that I can still have Dr Selina), so I will be sticking to this. Damansara Specialist seem a bit "funny" for not talking to me about tests I should do, and they don't even to check my weigh and urine when I vist.
Enough of hospital... No.2 is now week 32. He was week 30 when I visit Dr Tang, weighs 1.5kg and have been growing well. My fibriods were gone : ) Now at week 32, I'm back to my first few months of constant hunger and boy, my tummy looks like I'm having twins (in fact even bigger than my customers whom having triplets). I needs to sit more and can't really carry heavy stuffs, not even my super light gal. I havn't prepare his stuffs yet but I can always do last minute and there are ready avalible things in the store : )
Hopefully I can last until my birthday and trainings for my two staffs are done and they are ready to take over my role in the shop...
