I've went back to Salon Le Bis for my free treatment and they immediately saw my straighten hair. Anthony layered more of my hair to make it less heavy and Sybil re-permed my hair, she later found out that those part of my hair that was straighten were resistent to perm. It was very strange for them as they only found that in pregnant women. I've got another free treatment and the whole process was free. Two thumbs up for the service of Anthony and Sybil.
Saturday we went to Naxiang for some Shanhai Noodle and xiao long bao. That little gal was busy "talking" to ladies in the next table. Look at her, sitting like a big boss :)

Tmr we are going back to Sarawak for Qing Ming and the HFMD news was not any comforting...
Something else on NZ
Just realized that I've not posted any maps on NZ South Island.
Also didn't mentioned that early is how early and late is how late. Early is usually 7 - 7:30am when the sunrise and late is about 9 pm, dark after the sun sets at 8 pm. Its now one hour later as NZ crosses daylight saving time on the 19th Mar. The day that we've left.

NZ - South Island Trip Day 16 (19 Mar)
Home sweet Home!
We returned the car to one of the Scenic Circle Hotels near the airport and took their shutter... its 6:00 am... after almost 12 hours, we reached Singapore!

The car that served us well
Edlynne was angry when she saw us! She refused to let us carry her and she keeps crying when we lay her in her cot. I had to carry her, she cried, look at me and buried her face to my body, then look at me again and then buried her face again. She keeps continuing the process and refused to sleep. I guess she must be worried that I will be gone if she sleeps and have to check again and again to see if I'm still there. Poor Edlynne...
I was heartbroken! Edlynne dear, please don't blame mummy. Mummy promise that I will try my best not to leave you again...

NZ - South Island Trip Day 15 (18 Mar)
ChristchurchNothing much to write about today. Time were spent shopping for gifts for Edlynne and frens. We've got nothing for ourselves except for some magnets...
NZ - South Island Trip Day 12 (15 Mar)
Hanmer Springs -> Christchurch
Its was too warm yesterday for Vincent to take the thermal bath, so we decided to take this morning instead. Its raining and Vincent was quite please.

Hanmer Thermal Springs
The swimming attire costs NZ$4 each and the private pool for NZ$17 per person. We dipped in our private pool for half an hour before proceeding to test the outdoor pools. It was quite disappointing after we have tried the Polynesian pools in Rotorua.

Vincent in our private pool
We refused to pump any gasoline in Hanmer Springs as it was quite expensive and instead proceed back to Christchurch hopping to find some less expensive one on the way. But las, they were either not cheap or closed. Luckily the fuel sign only light up after we entered Christchurch.
We needed a motel for two nights before moving in the Air New Zealand compliment hotel for the last two nights. Managed to get one in Northcote for NZ$75 per night :)
Then we spend sometime walking around in Catherdral Square and also to book the hot air balloon ride for tomorrow.

NZ - South Island Trip Day 11 (14 Mar)
Nelson -> Motueka -> Murchison -> Westport -> Lewis Pass -> Hanmer Springs
There wasn't much to do in Nelson if you ain't interested to explore Abel Tasman National Park. We were not interested in sea sport and kayak, so we went to see see look look in Motueka and then decided to leave.
Off Highway 6, somewhere in Murchison, its Buller Gorge. There is NZ's longest Swingbridge at 110 m long. Vincent and I have considered for a long time if we should cross the bridge and in the end, we gave up as I'm scared of heights, I think I will most probably freak up in the middle of it.
We continued on our journey. It was quite amazing to see some hitch-hikers in the most unexpected places, but we didn't stop to pick anyone up.
Reached Westport in time for a lunch on the beach. Then continued with a slow drive thru Lewis Pass.

Lewis Pass
It was quite early when we reached Hanmer Springs and it was hot there! I meant hot like Singapore, not warm. So I happily put on my skirt and slip on :)
Vincent complained that our cheap motel got no air-con :) What to say, the air-con one costs NZ$110 and we got this cheap one for NZ$85.
NZ - South Island Trip Day 10 (13 Mar)
Christchurch -> Kaikoura -> Blenheim -> Picton -> Nelson
Off to Kaikoura for the whale watching! Was shocked to see that all the tours were full! They told us that all the tours were cancelled the day before and now its full, we would have to be in the waiting list. And so we waited for two hours and decided that if we still can't get into this one, we will make another trip after we come back from Hammer Spring. But we were lucky, we got into the 12:15 pm one :)

Saw four Sperm Whales, some albatrosses, seals and some Dusky Dolphins (lucky!).
We found out later that those tours after ours got cancelled. Phew! We were lucky :)
Continued with our journey to Nelson, passing thru Marlborough. There were lots of vineyards and fruit plantations on the way...

Vineyards, Blenleim

Queen Charolotte, Picton

Royal Gala in season, Rai Valley
Arrived in Nelson late in the evening and settled for some Maggies as the Chinese resturant charges NZ$13 for just some pork fried rice.
